Mercari has been providing dealer to dealer electronic Over-the-Counter (OTC) financial market services since January 2005.

Supervised by an experienced team of OTC professionals markets are conducted using Mercari’s proprietary OTC market specific, trading platform Mercari Direct. Mercari Direct is successfully operating, real time, in over 20 global banks using the Dealer Direct version of the platform.

Mercari Direct has been uniquely designed to meet the specialist requirements of OTC market places and their dealers. Through its innovative and flexible system, Mercari has proven itself to deliver fast, efficient, relevant and reliable OTC markets. The deployed trading versions of the Dealer input version of the platform has proved to many participants that the dealers given the functionality and anonymity often proved to be their own best broker.

Each OTC market, irrespective of its general asset class, has its own trading profile and personality. Similarly each OTC dealer has their own personal trading style that often varies depending on what they are trying to achieve.
