As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak continues to impact on financial markets, Mercari continues to monitor advice regarding COVID-19 from health authorities, government and market relevant regulatory agencies. Our focus is to ensure we continue to deliver fair, orderly and transparent markets and maintain confidence in the reliability and resilience of our operations. Mercari confirms it is capable of operating its markets remotely and can currently advise customers there will be no change in response times or service levels.
At this time, Mercari has activated its business continuity plan for all employees. Market operations and business development teams are currently fully operational from remote locations and are supporting all normal market activities. Mercari has operational processes in place to cater for the event of a staff member contracting COVID-19, and will continue to implement all its BCP policies and processes as appropriate to evolving conditions.
